Redoutable
The Redoutable is a French nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, part of the Triomphant class. It was launched in 1971 and is designed to carry and launch M51 intercontinental ballistic missiles. The submarine plays a crucial role in France's nuclear deterrent strategy.
With a length of 138 meters and a displacement of around 14,000 tons, the Redoutable can operate at great depths and has a crew of approximately 120 personnel. It is equipped with advanced sonar and navigation systems, enhancing its stealth and operational capabilities in various maritime environments.
