Red-necked Wallaby
The Red-necked Wallaby is a medium-sized marsupial native to Australia and nearby islands. It is characterized by its reddish-brown fur on the neck and shoulders, with a lighter underbelly. These wallabies typically inhabit open grasslands, forests, and scrublands, where they graze on grasses and leaves.
Red-necked Wallabies are social animals, often seen in small groups called mobs. They are crepuscular, meaning they are most active during dawn and dusk. Like other wallabies, they have strong hind legs for hopping and a long tail for balance, making them well-adapted to their environment.
