Real Line
The real line is a one-dimensional continuum that represents all possible real numbers. It extends infinitely in both directions, with each point on the line corresponding to a unique real number. The real line includes rational numbers, such as integers and fractions, as well as irrational numbers, which cannot be expressed as simple fractions.
On the real line, numbers are arranged in increasing order from left to right. The leftmost point represents negative infinity, while the rightmost point represents positive infinity. This structure allows for the visualization of mathematical concepts, such as distance and limits, making it a fundamental tool in fields like mathematics and physics.
