Rashidun Caliphs
The Rashidun Caliphs were the first four leaders of the Islamic community after the death of the Prophet Muhammad in 632 CE. They are known for their significant role in expanding the Islamic state and establishing the foundations of the Caliphate. The four caliphs were Abu Bakr, Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman ibn Affan, and Ali ibn Abi Talib.
These caliphs are celebrated for their leadership during a period of rapid expansion and consolidation of Islamic rule. Their era, known as the Rashidun Caliphate, lasted until 661 CE and is characterized by military conquests, administrative reforms, and the compilation of the Quran.
