Rani Rudrama
Rani Rudrama was a prominent queen of the Kakatiya dynasty in southern India during the 13th century. She ruled from 1262 to 1289 and is known for her strong leadership and administrative skills. As one of the few female rulers of her time, she took on the title of king and was recognized for her military prowess and efforts to expand her kingdom.
Rudrama was the daughter of Ganapati Deva and was trained in governance and warfare from a young age. She faced challenges from rival kingdoms but successfully defended her territory. Her reign is often celebrated for promoting trade, culture, and the arts in her kingdom.
