Rana Sanga
Rana Sanga was a prominent Rajput king of the Mewar region in present-day Rajasthan, India, during the early 16th century. He ruled from around 1509 to 1527 and is known for his resistance against the expanding Mughal Empire. Sanga was a skilled warrior and a unifying figure among the Rajput clans, striving to protect his kingdom from foreign invasions.
Under his leadership, Mewar became a significant power in northern India. Sanga's most notable conflict was against Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire, at the Battle of Khanwa in 1527. Despite his defeat, Sanga's legacy as a symbol of Rajput valor and pride endures in Indian history.
