Ramadán
Ramadán is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, observed by millions of Muslims worldwide. It is a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs. The fast is broken each evening with a meal called iftar.
The significance of Ramadán lies in its spiritual importance, as it commemorates the first revelation of the Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad. It is a period for increased devotion, self-discipline, and charity, encouraging Muslims to strengthen their faith and connect with their communities.
