Ram Prasad Bismil
Ram Prasad Bismil was an Indian revolutionary and poet born on June 11, 1897, in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He played a significant role in the struggle for India's independence from British rule. Bismil was a key member of the Hindustan Republican Association (HRA), which aimed to overthrow British authority through armed resistance.
Bismil is best known for his involvement in the Kakori Conspiracy of 1925, where he and his associates looted a train carrying British government funds. He was arrested, tried, and ultimately executed on December 19, 1927. His bravery and writings continue to inspire many in the fight for freedom.
