Racial Bias
Racial bias refers to the unfair treatment or judgment of individuals based on their race or ethnicity. This bias can manifest in various ways, including stereotypes, discrimination, and unequal opportunities in areas such as employment, education, and law enforcement. It often stems from societal norms and historical contexts that perpetuate inequality.
Racial bias can be both explicit, where individuals are consciously aware of their prejudices, and implicit, where biases operate unconsciously. Addressing racial bias requires awareness, education, and systemic changes to promote equality and justice for all, regardless of their racial background.
