Rabbi Meir Shapiro
Rabbi Meir Shapiro was a prominent Jewish scholar and leader born in 1887 in Tarnów, Poland. He is best known for founding the Yeshiva Chachmei Lublin, which was one of the first institutions to combine traditional Jewish learning with modern educational methods. Rabbi Shapiro played a significant role in the development of Jewish education in the early 20th century.
