Rabbi Chaim Volozhin
Rabbi Chaim Volozhin (1749-1821) was a prominent Jewish scholar and the founder of the Volozhin Yeshiva, one of the first modern yeshivas in Lithuania. He was a disciple of the famous Rabbi Elijah of Vilna, also known as the Vilna Gaon, and played a significant role in the development of Jewish education during the Haskalah period.
