RSM-56
The RSM-56, also known as the Bulava, is a Russian submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) designed to enhance the country's nuclear deterrent capabilities. It is primarily deployed on the Dmitry Donskoy class submarines and is capable of carrying multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs), allowing it to strike various targets simultaneously.
The missile has a range of approximately 8,000 kilometers and is designed to evade missile defense systems. The RSM-56 is part of Russia's strategic nuclear forces and plays a crucial role in maintaining a credible second-strike capability in the event of a nuclear conflict.
