Bulava
The Bulava is a Russian submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) designed to enhance the country's nuclear deterrent capabilities. It is capable of carrying multiple warheads and has a range of approximately 8,000 kilometers, allowing it to target distant locations. The missile is launched from submarines, making it difficult for adversaries to detect and intercept.
Developed by the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology, the Bulava has undergone extensive testing since its introduction in the early 2000s. It is primarily deployed on the Dmitry Donskoy class submarines and is intended to replace older missile systems, ensuring the effectiveness of Russia's strategic nuclear forces.
