RMS Aquitania
The RMS Aquitania was a British ocean liner launched in 1914, designed for transatlantic travel. Built by the Cunard Line, it was known for its luxurious accommodations and advanced safety features. The ship could carry over 3,000 passengers and was a popular choice for both travelers and immigrants.
During its service, the Aquitania made numerous voyages between Europe and North America, especially during the World War I and World War II periods. It was repurposed as a troopship during the wars, showcasing its versatility. The ship was retired in 1950 and eventually scrapped in 1957.
