RFID systems
RFID systems, or Radio Frequency Identification systems, use radio waves to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. Each tag contains a microchip with stored information and an antenna that communicates with a reader. This technology is widely used in various industries, including retail, logistics, and healthcare, to improve inventory management and enhance security.
The RFID system consists of three main components: the tag, the reader, and the software. The tag can be passive, active, or semi-passive, depending on its power source. The reader emits radio waves to detect the tag, which then transmits its information back to the reader for processing.
