RDNA
RDNA stands for Radeon DNA, a graphics architecture developed by AMD (Advanced Micro Devices). It is designed to enhance the performance and efficiency of graphics processing units (GPUs) used in gaming and professional applications. RDNA focuses on delivering high frame rates and improved power consumption compared to previous architectures.
The first generation of RDNA was introduced in 2019, powering the Radeon RX 5000 series of graphics cards. The architecture supports advanced features like real-time ray tracing and variable rate shading, which enhance visual quality and performance in modern video games. Subsequent generations, such as RDNA 2, have further improved these capabilities.
