RAF Throckmorton
RAF Throckmorton is a former Royal Air Force station located in Worcestershire, England. It was established in 1940 and primarily served as a base for training and operational squadrons during World War II. The airfield was known for its role in various military operations and housed several aircraft types throughout its operational years.
After the war, RAF Throckmorton was closed in 1964 and has since been repurposed for civilian use. The site is now home to various businesses and organizations, while remnants of the airfield, including runways and buildings, can still be seen today.
