RAF Kenley
RAF Kenley is a former Royal Air Force station located in Kenley, Surrey, England. Established in 1917, it played a significant role during both World Wars, particularly in World War II as a fighter station. The airfield was home to several squadrons, including No. 615 Squadron and No. 602 Squadron, which defended London during the Battle of Britain.
Today, RAF Kenley is no longer an active military base but is preserved as a historic site. The airfield is used for general aviation and is managed by the Kenley Revival Project, which aims to maintain its heritage and educate the public about its historical significance.
