RAF Debden
RAF Debden is a former Royal Air Force station located in Essex, England. It was established in 1937 and played a significant role during World War II, serving as a base for various fighter squadrons. The station was primarily used for operations involving Supermarine Spitfires and Hawker Hurricanes.
After the war, RAF Debden continued to operate until its closure in 1961. The site has since been repurposed for civilian use, but remnants of its military history can still be seen. Today, it serves as a reminder of the important role it played in the defense of Britain.
