Qutb Shahi Dynasty
The Qutb Shahi Dynasty was a Muslim dynasty that ruled the region of Golconda, in present-day Telangana, India, from the early 16th to the late 17th century. Founded by Sultan Quli Qutb Shah, the dynasty is known for its contributions to architecture, culture, and the arts, blending Persian and Indian influences.
The dynasty's capital was Golconda Fort, which became a significant center for trade and culture. The Qutb Shahi rulers were patrons of literature and music, and they built several beautiful structures, including the famous Charminar in Hyderabad. Their reign ended with the annexation of their territory by the Mughal Empire.
