Quiet Riot
Quiet Riot is an American heavy metal band formed in 1975, known for their energetic sound and theatrical performances. They gained widespread fame in the 1980s with their hit album Metal Health, which was the first heavy metal album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's lineup has changed over the years, but they have maintained a loyal fan base.
The group's most famous song, "Cum On Feel the Noize," is a cover of a track originally by Slade. This song, along with others, helped define the glam metal genre during the 1980s. Despite facing challenges, including the death of lead vocalist Kevin DuBrow in 2007, Quiet Riot continues to perform and release music.
