Quiapo Church
Quiapo Church, officially known as the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene, is a prominent Roman Catholic church located in the heart of Quiapo, Manila, Philippines. It is famous for housing the statue of the Black Nazarene, a life-sized image of Jesus Christ carrying the cross, which attracts thousands of devotees, especially during the annual procession on January 9.
The church was originally built in 1586 and has undergone several renovations over the years. Its baroque architecture features a striking facade and a spacious interior, making it a significant religious and cultural landmark in the Philippines.
