Quezon Memorial
The Quezon Memorial is a prominent monument located in Quezon City, Philippines. It was built to honor Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines, who served from 1935 to 1944. The memorial features a towering obelisk that stands 66 meters high, symbolizing the 66 years of Quezon's life. Surrounding the monument are beautifully landscaped gardens and a museum dedicated to Quezon's legacy.
The memorial complex also includes the Quezon Memorial Circle, a popular park where visitors can enjoy recreational activities and cultural events. Inside the obelisk, there are three symbolic urns that contain the remains of Quezon and his wife, Sofia Quezon. The site serves as a historical landmark and a tribute to the contributions of Quezon to the nation.
