Queso de Valdeon
Queso de Valdeon is a traditional blue cheese from the Valdeón Valley in the Picos de Europa mountains of northern Spain. Made from a blend of cow's and goat's milk, it has a creamy texture and a strong, tangy flavor. The cheese is aged for several months, allowing its characteristic blue veins to develop.
This cheese is often enjoyed on its own, paired with bread or fruits, and is also used in various culinary dishes. Queso de Valdeon has received recognition for its quality and is a protected designation of origin (PDO) product, ensuring its authenticity and traditional production methods.
