Queen Inhyeon
Queen Inhyeon was a significant figure in Korean history, known for her role as the queen consort of King Sukjong during the late 17th century. Born in 1659, she became queen in 1681 and was admired for her intelligence and grace. Her reign was marked by political intrigue and power struggles at the royal court.
Inhyeon was initially deposed in 1688 due to the influence of Lady Jang, a rival who sought to gain favor with the king. However, she was restored to her position in 1694 after public support and political changes. She remained a respected figure until her death in 1701.
