Quantitative Attributes
Quantitative attributes are measurable characteristics that can be expressed numerically. They provide objective data that can be analyzed statistically. Examples include height, weight, temperature, and age. These attributes allow for comparisons and can be used in various fields such as science, economics, and social research.
In contrast to qualitative attributes, which describe qualities or characteristics, quantitative attributes focus on quantities. For instance, in a study of population demographics, researchers might collect quantitative data on the number of individuals in different age groups or income levels. This data helps in making informed decisions and drawing conclusions based on numerical evidence.
