Qualcomm Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in San Diego, California. Opened in 1967, it served as the home for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League and the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball. The stadium had a seating capacity of approximately 70,000 and hosted various events, including concerts and college football games.
In 2017, Qualcomm Stadium was officially closed and subsequently demolished in 2019. The site is now being redeveloped into a new project called Civic San Diego, which aims to create residential and commercial spaces. The stadium was an iconic part of San Diego's sports history for over five decades.
