Quaker Camps
Quaker Camps are summer programs organized by the Religious Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers. These camps focus on fostering community, spiritual growth, and outdoor activities. Participants engage in various activities such as hiking, arts and crafts, and group discussions, all while promoting values like peace, equality, and simplicity.
The camps often emphasize a non-competitive environment, encouraging cooperation and friendship among campers. Many Quaker Camps also incorporate silent worship and reflection time, allowing participants to connect with their inner selves and the natural world. These experiences aim to nurture personal development and a sense of belonging.
