QWERTY Layout
The QWERTY layout is a keyboard design that arranges the letters in a specific order, starting with the letters Q, W, E, R, T, and Y in the top left corner. This layout was created in the 19th century for typewriters to reduce jamming by placing frequently used letters apart from each other. It has become the standard keyboard layout for most English-speaking countries.
Despite the introduction of alternative layouts like Dvorak and Colemak, the QWERTY layout remains the most widely used. It is found on various devices, including computers, smartphones, and tablets, making it familiar to millions of users worldwide.
