Pyrrho
Pyrrho was an ancient Greek philosopher, born around 360 BCE, who is often considered the founder of Skepticism. He traveled extensively, including to India, where he encountered different philosophical ideas. His teachings emphasized the importance of suspending judgment and questioning the certainty of knowledge.
Pyrrho believed that true happiness comes from achieving tranquility through the acceptance of uncertainty. He argued that since we cannot know anything for sure, we should remain indifferent to our beliefs and opinions. His ideas influenced later philosophers, including the Academics and Stoics, shaping the development of Western philosophical thought.
