Przewalski's horse
Przewalski's horse is a rare and endangered wild horse native to the steppes of Central Asia, particularly in Mongolia. It is known for its stocky build, short legs, and a distinctive mane that stands upright. Unlike domestic horses, Przewalski's horse has a unique genetic makeup, making it the only true wild horse species still in existence.
These horses typically live in small herds and graze on grasses and shrubs. Conservation efforts have been implemented to protect their habitat and increase their population, as they were once extinct in the wild. Today, they can be found in several reserves and zoos around the world.
