Przewalski's Horse
Przewalski's Horse is a rare and endangered wild horse species native to the steppes of Central Asia, particularly in Mongolia. It is known for its stocky build, short legs, and a distinctive mane that stands upright. Unlike domestic horses, Przewalski's Horse has a unique genetic makeup, making it the only true wild horse species still in existence.
These horses are adapted to harsh environments and primarily graze on grasses and shrubs. Conservation efforts have been implemented to protect their populations, which were once driven to near extinction due to habitat loss and hunting. Today, they are being reintroduced into the wild from zoos and breeding programs.
