Prostate
The prostate is a small gland located below the bladder in men. It surrounds the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder out of the body. The primary function of the prostate is to produce a fluid that nourishes and transports sperm during ejaculation.
As men age, the prostate can undergo changes, leading to conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or prostate cancer. Regular check-ups and discussions with a healthcare provider are important for monitoring prostate health and addressing any concerns that may arise.
