Professional Regulation Commission
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is a government agency in the Philippines responsible for regulating and licensing various professions. Established in 1973, its primary role is to ensure that professionals meet the required standards of competence and ethical practice. The PRC oversees the examination, registration, and renewal of licenses for various professions, including engineering, nursing, and teaching.
In addition to licensing, the PRC also promotes professional development and continuing education for licensed professionals. It aims to uphold the integrity of professions and protect the welfare of the public by ensuring that practitioners adhere to established laws and regulations.
