Principalities of Moldavia
The Principalities of Moldavia was a historical region located in Eastern Europe, primarily in what is now northeastern Romania and parts of Moldova. Established in the 14th century, it became a significant political entity, often influenced by neighboring powers such as the Ottoman Empire and Poland.
Moldavia was known for its rich culture, including unique traditions, art, and architecture. The principality played a crucial role in the history of the Balkans and was eventually united with Wallachia to form modern Romania in the 19th century, marking the end of its independent status.
