Princess Ubolratana is a member of the Thai royal family, born on April 5, 1951. She is the eldest daughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Ubolratana studied in the United States and holds a degree in mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
