Princess Sophie of Prussia was born on June 14, 1870, as the daughter of Prince Friedrich Karl of Prussia and Princess Maria Anna of Anhalt. She belonged to the House of Hohenzollern and was a member of the German nobility.
In 1892, she married Prince Wilhelm of Sweden, becoming the Duchess of Södermanland. Sophie was known for her charitable work and involvement in social causes, particularly in Sweden, where she contributed to various organizations aimed at improving the welfare of children and the poor.
