Princess Maria Teresa of Austria
Princess Maria Teresa of Austria was born on July 14, 1882, in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. She was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine and the daughter of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination in 1914 sparked World War I. Maria Teresa married Prince Sixtus of Bourbon-Parma in 1903, and they had several children.
Throughout her life, Maria Teresa was involved in various charitable activities and supported the arts. She lived through significant historical events, including the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Maria Teresa passed away on 30 March 1919 in Brussels, Belgium.
