Princess Chichibu, born Yasuko Takeda, was a member of the Japanese imperial family. She was the daughter of Prince Takeda and Princess Takeda, and she married Prince Chichibu, the younger brother of Emperor Hirohito. Their marriage took place in 1930, and they had no children. Princess Chichibu was known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes. She was involved in various organizations, including those focused on health and education. After her husband's death in 1951, she continued her philanthropic efforts until her own passing in 1995.
