Princess Alice
Princess Alice was the second daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert of the United Kingdom. Born on April 25, 1843, she was known for her intelligence and compassion. Alice married Louis IV, Grand Duke of Hesse in 1862 and became Grand Duchess. She had seven children and was involved in various charitable activities.
Alice was deeply affected by the loss of her father, Prince Albert, and worked to support her mother during her grief. She was also known for her dedication to nursing and education. Princess Alice passed away on December 14, 1878, from diphtheria, leaving a legacy of kindness and service.
