Princess Adelheid of Schleswig-Holstein
Princess Adelheid of Schleswig-Holstein was born on July 1, 1817, in Schleswig, a region in northern Europe. She was the daughter of Duke Friedrich Wilhelm of Schleswig-Holstein and Princess Louise of Denmark. Adelheid became known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes throughout her life.
