Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld
Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (1790-1865) was a German nobleman known for his role in European royal circles. He was born into the House of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, a family that produced several notable monarchs. Leopold became the first King of the Belgians in 1831, following Belgium's independence from the Netherlands.
