Prince George, Duke of Cumberland
Prince George, Duke of Cumberland, was born on 27th December 1819 and was a member of the British royal family. He was the son of King Ernest Augustus, King of Hanover and Queen Frederica of Hanover. George became the Duke of Cumberland in 1851 and was known for his military service, particularly in the British Army.
In 1866, he became the last King of Hanover after the kingdom was annexed by Prussia. He spent much of his later life in Germany, where he was involved in various royal duties. Prince George passed away on 12th June 1878 in Germany.
