Prince Friedrich of Anhalt
Prince Friedrich of Anhalt was a German nobleman born on March 24, 1831, in the Duchy of Anhalt. He belonged to the House of Ascania and was the son of Duke Leopold IV of Anhalt. Friedrich served in the Prussian army and held various military ranks throughout his career.
In 1863, he became the reigning duke after his father's death. His reign was marked by efforts to modernize the duchy and improve its infrastructure. Friedrich was known for his interest in the arts and education, contributing to the cultural development of Anhalt during his time. He passed away on July 24, 1904.
