Prince Bernhard
Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands was born on May 29, 1911, in Germany. He became the consort of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands after their marriage in 1937. Bernhard played a significant role in Dutch public life and was known for his involvement in various charitable organizations and environmental initiatives.
During World War II, he was active in the Dutch resistance and later served as a pilot in the Royal Netherlands Air Force. Prince Bernhard was also a founding member of the World Wildlife Fund and worked to promote conservation efforts globally. He passed away on December 1, 2004.
