Prince Amadeo
Prince Amadeo, also known as Amadeo of Savoy, was born on November 30, 1845, in Turin, Italy. He was a member of the House of Savoy and the son of King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy. Amadeo became the Duke of Aosta and is known for his brief reign as King of Spain from 1870 to 1873, during a tumultuous period in Spanish history.
His reign was marked by political instability and challenges, leading to his eventual abdication. After leaving the Spanish throne, Amadeo returned to Italy, where he continued to serve in various military and diplomatic roles until his death on January 18, 1890.
