Primož Trubar
Primož Trubar was a Slovenian Protestant reformer and writer, born in 1508. He is best known for his role in the development of the Slovenian language and literature. Trubar was the first to publish books in Slovenian, including the Catechism in 1550 and the New Testament in 1560, which helped standardize the language.
