The Priests of the Sacred Heart, also known as the SCJ (Society of the Catholic Priests of the Sacred Heart), is a religious congregation founded in 1857 by Fr. Leo John Dehon in France. Their mission focuses on promoting the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and serving the spiritual and material needs of people, especially the marginalized.
Members of the SCJ engage in various ministries, including education, pastoral work, and social justice initiatives. They operate in multiple countries, emphasizing community life and spiritual growth while fostering a deep commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
