Pride Flag
The Pride Flag is a symbol of the LGBTQ+ community, representing diversity and acceptance. Originally designed in 1978 by artist Gilbert Baker, the flag features six horizontal stripes in the colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Each color has its own meaning, reflecting aspects of the community's identity and values.
Over the years, the Pride Flag has evolved to include additional colors and designs, such as the Progress Pride Flag, which incorporates black and brown stripes to represent marginalized communities of color. The flag is prominently displayed during Pride Month and at various LGBTQ+ events worldwide, promoting visibility and support for LGBTQ+ rights.
