President of Republika Srpska
The President of Republika Srpska is the head of the government in this autonomous entity within Bosnia and Herzegovina. The position was established in 1992, following the breakup of Yugoslavia, and is responsible for executing laws, overseeing the administration, and representing the entity in international matters.
The President is elected by the citizens of Republika Srpska for a term of four years and can serve a maximum of two consecutive terms.
